ONE PAGE FOR EVERY CODING AGENT
Every Claude Code and Codex session, on one page
With several Claude Code and Codex sessions open, the worst case is one of them sitting there waiting for your approval while you have no idea. The Agents page in echo agent lists every session on your Mac: whatever needs you comes first, and one click lets you follow up, approve or stop. Handing out work doesn’t mean switching to a terminal either; press Fn+Space and say it.

What’s on the page
- Every session.Claude Code and Codex sessions that echo started and the ones you opened yourself in a terminal are all listed, grouped by project. Sessions waiting for an approval or an answer come first.
- See at a glance who is who. Each agent wears its own look: Claude Code in orange, Codex in white, DeepSeek Harness as the blue whale. The icon of the one at work moves, and a little crab stands on the cards of jobs handed to Claude, walking while it works and waving when it needs your OK.
- Pick up where it is.See what it said last, then follow up, stop, approve, or continue in the terminal. Claude Code sessions also have “Open in Claude” to carry on in the Claude desktop app.
- Models and permissions. Each session has a model and a permission picker, plus how much of the context is used. Follow up while it is still running and your message waits, then goes out as soon as the current step is done.
- You hear when it’s done.Tasks finished in the last day that you haven’t opened yet sit under Done, with a count in the sidebar. When you are away from echo, a system notification tells you a task finished or failed, and one click opens it.
Several tasks at once
- Own copies, no collisions. To run several tasks in the same project, turn on “Own copy” for a new task. Each one works in its own copy on its own branch, so they don’t overwrite each other. Merge it back in one click, or tell echo “merge that copy back”; if there are conflicts it stops and names the files.
- Open a PR, watch CI.When a task has changed code, one click opens a pull request and the CI results show on the task card. If CI fails, tap “Fix it” and the agent works from the log.
- Results go back to the chat that asked.A task reports only to the conversation that sent it, and tasks nest under that chat in the sidebar, so nothing lands in another conversation.
Things you can say
- Have Claude Code fix this error
- Have Codex add tests in a separate copy
- Use opencode to update this page
- Have Hermes look through this repo
- Is that Codex task done?
- Approve
- Pick the second one
- Merge that copy back
- Open a PR for it
- How is CI doing?
Which agents
- Claude Code, Codex, DeepSeek Harness (dsh), opencode and Hermes Agent.Install and sign in to their command-line tools and echo finds them; each one gets its own card on the page.
- Missing one? One click installs it.Agents you don't have yet still get a card. Open it and echo runs the official installer in the terminal on the right, then walks you through signing in. The version menu next to the name lets you sign in or switch accounts any time.
- Always up to date. Each one updates to its latest version once a day, so it never falls behind. The version shows next to its name; click it to check right away, or turn updates off in Settings › About.
- They remember you too.Work echo hands off can read what echo remembers about you and look through your past sessions, so you don't have to explain everything again; turn it off in Settings › Memory. When you don't name an agent, echo picks the one best suited to the job.
- Your own accounts.Tasks run in the background in the project folder you choose, usage goes to your own account in each tool, and your usual permission settings apply by default.
- A note on DeepSeek Harness. When it uses DeepSeek’s official API, it uploads the session log to DeepSeek by default. Turning that off is in its own settings, and echo doesn’t change them.
Questions
Can I see Claude Code sessions I started myself in a terminal?
Yes. Every Claude Code and Codex session on your Mac is listed on the Agents page, whether echo started it or you opened it yourself in a terminal, and you can follow up, approve or stop it from there.
Will several tasks in the same project overwrite each other?
Not with “Own copy” on. Each task works in its own copy and branch, you merge it back in one click, and if there are conflicts echo stops and tells you which files conflict instead of forcing the merge.
What if a task needs approval while I’m away from my Mac?
Install the echo agent phone app. When Claude Code or Codex wants to run a command or change a file, tap Allow or Deny on your phone, and you get a notification when a task is done. The work still happens on your Mac; the phone is the remote.
Does it cost anything?
echo agent is a free download. Claude Code, Codex and the other tools use your own accounts and quotas. Talking to echo uses the built-in echo model, free after sign-in with limits that reset every 5 hours and every week; a pass raises them, or you can use your own API key.
Is the Agents page on Windows too?
Yes. The Windows beta has the Agents page too, and you can download it from the website. It is still being tested.
Want to see it work first? The home page has a 48-second film and an interactive demo.
