CHANGELOG
What changed in every version of echo agent
New features, improvements and fixes, newest first. The update prompt inside the app shows the same notes.
0.1.73
- A new chat's page and terminal stay with itIf you open a preview or the terminal in a new chat and then open an older chat, that chat shows its own; once the new chat sends its first message, what you opened stays with it.
- Archived chats close their terminalArchiving or deleting a chat, restarting the terminal or quitting echo now ends its shell and any command still running there, instead of leaving them in the background. Apps you opened from the terminal stay open.
- echo notes where it got stuckWhen echo freezes, it saves a record of what it was busy with to a log on your Mac, even if you hit Reopen within seconds, so the next freeze can be tracked down instead of guessed at.
0.1.72
- Each chat keeps to itselfPreviews, the terminal and pictures you attach belong to their own chat. A chat running in the background no longer pops its page or commands into the one you're looking at; you see them when you switch to it. The task line above the input only shows this chat's tasks.
- Name an agent and it does the workSay "call Hermes" or "have Claude Code fix it" and echo hands the job over, so you see that agent's task in the chat instead of echo quietly doing it itself.
- Tasks you send yourself stay out of your chatsResults of tasks you start from the Agents page, a /hermes-style command or your phone stay in the Agents page instead of landing in whatever chat is open. To have echo sum one up, press Summarize result in the task history.
- Live voice reads every answerWith Live on, answers are read aloud whether you spoke or typed. Pick the voice and how long the spoken answer is in Settings › Voice & Permissions.
- **Fixed a freeze when opening a finished session or switching agents in Agents.**
0.1.71
- Coding agents keep themselves up to dateClaude Code, Codex, opencode, DeepSeek Harness and Hermes update to their latest version once a day, so they never fall behind. The version sits next to each name on the Agents page; click it to check right away. Turn it off in Settings › About.
- Hermes Agent joins the teamSend it work, look through its past sessions and pick them up again, just like the others.
- One click to install the ones you don't haveOpen a missing agent on the Agents page and echo runs its official installer in the terminal on the right, then walks you through signing in. You can sign in or switch accounts from the version menu any time.
- Coding agents remember you tooWork echo hands off can read what echo remembers about you and look through your past sessions, so you don't have to explain everything again. Turn it off in Settings › Memory.
- Picks the right one when you don't sayIf you don't name an agent, echo picks the one best suited to the job.
0.1.70
- echo tells you when it's stuckIf it stops responding for more than 5 seconds, a bar above its window says so, with Wait and Reopen, so you don't have to force-quit it from Activity Monitor.
- Reopens itself if it stays stuck and keeps eating memoryAfter several minutes stuck with memory climbing past 3 GB, echo restarts on its own instead of dragging your Mac down all night.
0.1.69
- Takes the next step on its ownWhen a background task or a clone finishes, echo opens the preview, checks what changed and carries on, without waiting for you to ask.
- Longer conversationsWith echo, a conversation holds several times more before it gets summarized, so long tasks keep track of what happened early on.
- No cap on clonesRun as many clones and background tasks as you like at once, and clones can start clones of their own.
- Finds another wayWhen one of echo's tools can't do something, like playing a particular song, echo tries another way instead of stopping at "I can't".
- Highest means highestChoosing the highest thinking level in Settings now really gets you the highest.
- Fuller view of other agents' chatsWhen you ask about a Claude Code or Codex session, echo reads more of each reply.
0.1.68
- No more freezingOpening a preview from a reply, or opening a long Claude Code session, could make echo stop responding until you force-quit it. That's fixed.
- Your selection stays putText you've selected in a reply stays selected when you open the preview on the right or resize the window.
- Pictures in NotesWhen echo writes a note for you, it can put screenshots and images in it.
- Send files on WeChat and Feishuecho can attach files and send the message for you. It always shows you who it's going to and what's in it first, and only sends once you confirm.
- Peek at a file without opening itecho can take a snapshot of a file's first page to look at or send to someone.
- Invite people to meetingsOn calendars that support invitations, echo looks people up in Contacts and asks you before sending the invite.
- SlidesGive echo an outline or a document and it makes a .pptx deck, speaker notes included.
0.1.67
- echo's quota works differently nowInstead of a number of uses per day there's a 5-hour limit and a weekly limit, measured by how much work echo actually does. A quick question uses very little; long tasks use more.
- See how much you've usedSettings › Account shows how much of each limit you've used and when it resets. The title bar warns you when you're close, and if one runs out it tells you which one and when it comes back.
- Passes are now a multiple of the free usageBasic is 5×, Pro is 20×.
0.1.66
- "Working" at the top of the sidebarChats that are running, waiting on you, or have work out that hasn't come back sit at the top; projects and chats stay folded. Open it for a task map that shows what each chat sent out and how far it's got.
- The message box no longer jumps as it growsTyping or dictating through your input method stays put; it grows to 8 lines, then scrolls inside.
- Screenshot-ask works while another app records or shares your screenIt used to grab a tiny square during a screen share; now it gets the whole window.
- Running task icons are the right way upCodex's cloud and DeepSeek's whale are no longer upside down, and Claude's star spins clockwise.
0.1.65
- A cleaner homeThe voice card at the bottom of the sidebar and the little icon next to the title are gone; voice wake lives in Settings › Voice & permissions, or just say "turn on voice wake".
- A quieter lookCards and buttons drop their outlines and sit on soft shades instead; in dark mode the text is a touch lighter, easier on the eyes.
- Replies ink inNew words fade in instead of popping one by one; changing numbers no longer nudge the text next to them, and buttons give a little bounce when you press them.
0.1.64
- echo can tell whether a page's video is playingWhen it checks a page it waits for images and video to load, and if a video isn't playing it says why (for example, no video file set), instead of handing over a page that only shows a still.
- Free assets get creditedWhen a 3D picture uses Poly Haven lighting or models, echo tells you which ones when it hands it over.
0.1.63
- 3D renders no longer bog down your MacOne render at a time, the rest wait their turn, and if memory runs low echo stops and tells you how to make the scene lighter.
- Files land in this chat's folderPictures, video and pages go there by default; in-between previews no longer pile up in your folders and are cleared after a day.
0.1.62
- Plain words while it worksWhen echo does something itself, the line in the chat says what it's doing, like "Searching the web" or "Rendering a preview", instead of a tool name and a block of code.
- Pictures, not plumbingWhen echo makes 3D pictures or video, it tells you what it made, where it is and how to change it.
0.1.61
- A Preview card when a page changesWhether echo changed it or handed it to Claude, Codex or DeepSeek, the reply ends with a Preview card; one click opens the page on the right, echo starts the dev server if it needs one and tells you what went wrong if it won't start.
- Password prompts get noticed right awayecho now spots Chinese prompts like 「密码:」 in the terminal and asks you to type there instead of waiting.
- Chinese punctuation no longer sticks to linksAn address followed by 「)。」 in a reply now opens the right page.
0.1.60
- Claude, Codex and DeepSeek now look like themselvesNo more plain black and white. Claude is in its orange, Codex in white, DeepSeek is the blue whale, each with its own icon; in Agents every one gets a card in its own color, and the icon moves while it's working.
- A little crab stands on Claude's cardsIt jumps onto the card when echo hands Claude a job, walks back and forth while Claude works, waves when it needs your OK and hops when the job is done.
- Switch chats while one is still runningThe first one keeps going in the background, as many as you like, and each result comes back to its own chat.
0.1.52
- echo no longer maxes out your CPU on long jobsWhile echo worked and streamed a long answer, the CPU could hit 100% and the window would freeze; now the same work takes less than half the CPU and the window stays responsive. Very long chats show the latest messages first; scroll to the top and click "Show earlier messages" to see more.
- Long replies open smoothlyReplies with hundreds of lines or long code blocks stream more smoothly, and reopening the chat no longer pauses. They look the same as before.
0.1.51
- Pasting and sending long text no longer freezesPasting a hundred-line document from Feishu or a web page used to freeze echo; now it shows up right away, and sending it or reopening the chat is smooth too. The input box grows to 8 lines and then scrolls, and Shift+Return adds a new line.
- Open a pull request from a task cardOnce a background task is done, one click opens its PR, and the CI results show on the card. If CI fails, tap "Fix it" and echo works from the log.
- echo can start clones of itselfA clone has its own task card, and its results go back to the chat that asked for it.
- Tasks report back to the chat that started themResults go only to the conversation that sent the task, and tasks nest under that chat in the sidebar, so nothing lands in another chat.
- A preview and a terminal beside the chatPages echo builds open next to the chat, with dev servers and a phone-sized view. The terminal sits beside it, and the commands echo runs show there with their output.
- See what changedFiles echo changed are listed with the lines added and removed, and you can open one to see the diff. Generated images show right in the chat.
- FixesLong chats that had their context compacted show their full history again when reopened; the "Default" thinking level and model in Settings apply right away; finished tasks no longer look like they are still running on the Agents page; git and gh use the system proxy when opening PRs.
0.1.49
- echo can hand work to DeepSeek Harness and opencodeLike Claude Code and Codex, if you have them installed, just say "let dsh do it" or "use opencode for this". Agents has a card for each, with their sessions, progress and approvals, and you can pick a model and permission level. One thing to know: when DeepSeek Harness uses DeepSeek's official API, it uploads the session log to DeepSeek by default; turning that off is in its own settings, and echo doesn't change them.
- Connect your own MCP serversSettings has a new "MCP servers" page. Paste a command or a URL to add one; the ones already set up in Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor can be imported in one click. Each server shows whether it's connected, needs a sign-in or can't be reached, and "Sign in" opens the browser for you. With "ask every time" on, echo asks before using their tools.
- Several tools at once, long output trimmed firstFor jobs that need a lookup in several places, echo can now write a small script that calls the tools in parallel and trims the output before reading it, which saves time and quota.
0.1.48
- Make echo look the way you likeSettings has a new "Appearance" page where you can pick the accent colour, the tone of the background, corner roundness, spacing, and make the text one size bigger or smaller. You can also just tell echo, "make it warmer, like an old newspaper" or "accent colour dark green", and it changes on the spot, no restart. Say "change it back" to undo, step by step. Combinations you couldn't read are refused, with a note on what's off. A look can be exported as a short code you paste to a friend.
- A livelier first screenThe echo mark in the middle breathes; click it to start talking and click again to send. While it listens it turns red and moves with your voice. It greets you by the time of day, with a few sample things echo can do. The remaining uses for today no longer sit in the title bar all the time, only when you're running low.
- Notices no longer take over a new chatBefore, a warning such as a tool that couldn't connect could leave the page showing nothing but those lines. Now the page stays as it is and each notice shows once.
- echo decides when a render is worth itWhen it builds a page it now weighs whether a rendered picture or looping video is clearly better than code. A design-led page usually is; a login page, a form, charts or ordinary animation stay in code, so you don't wait the extra minute or two for nothing.
0.1.47
- Ask a side question while echo is busyWhile it's writing code, looking something up or running tools, type /btw and your question (or press ⌘;, or just say "顺便问一下…") and a small card answers on the side. It knows the conversation so far, but it doesn't interrupt the running task and doesn't go into the chat history.
- Tasks you hand off show up in the chatAfter echo hands a job to Claude Code or Codex, a small card in the conversation shows how far it got, whether it's waiting for you, and whether it finished or didn't. Click it to open the task in Agents.
- A "Done" section in AgentsTasks that finished within the last day and that you haven't opened yet are listed there, with a count in the sidebar. Open one and it goes back to its project.
- A notification when a task endsWhen you're away from echo agent, a Claude Code or Codex task that finishes or fails sends a notification; click it to open the task. You can turn it off in Settings › Voice & permissions.
- Several tasks in one project without stepping on each otherThe new-task sheet has an "own copy" switch; with it on, the task works in a separate copy on its own branch. When it's done you can merge it back from Agents in one click, or just tell echo "merge that copy back" or "delete the copy". If there's a conflict it won't force anything; it tells you which files.
- Long chats stay quick, and hiccups retry themselvesSending a message no longer gets slower the longer a chat gets, and when the service has a temporary error echo retries a few times by itself. If you send two messages back to back, the second one is no longer dropped.
0.1.46
- Type / for commandsType a / in the chat box and a list of commands pops up above it: switch the model (/model), set the thinking level (/effort), compact the context (/compact), see how much context the chat uses (/context), rename the chat (/name), copy the last reply (/copy), plus a new chat, another folder, handing a task straight to Claude Code or Codex, and opening Settings. The list narrows as you type; pick with the arrow keys and press Return.
- echo renders pictures and video itselfWhen a page, a slide or a film needs a 3D hero image, a product shot, 3D lettering or a looping background video, echo can render it, with real light and real texture. The first time, it may need to download a renderer (about 350 MB).
- Lighter on the CPU while it worksecho uses far less CPU while a task runs and right when it finishes, so your fans and battery get a break.
- Long chats with lots of screenshots keep goingA chat full of screenshots used to stop answering without saying why. Now the oldest images are left out of the request when it gets too big, and screenshots are stored smaller. When a request still fails, echo tells you why.
0.1.45
- Work steps fold into one lineWhen echo looks things up, runs commands or works an app, every step used to take a row of its own. Now a run of steps shares one small line: "Running …" while it works, "Worked for 22s" when it's done, and you can click it to see every step.
- Keep working with the lid closedSettings › Phone has a new "Keep working with the lid closed" switch. With it on, a Mac paired with your phone stays awake with the lid shut, so you can keep handing echo tasks from your phone while you're away. Plugged in, it stays awake; on battery it goes back to normal sleep below 20% or when it gets too hot. Turning it on the first time asks for your administrator password once. It's off by default.
- Pick the model and permissions on the Agents pageUnder a Claude Code or Codex session you can choose the model and the permission mode, including skipping every permission prompt, and see how much of the context is used. You can also keep talking while a task is still running: your message waits in line and goes out as soon as the current one finishes.
0.1.44
- echo can search the web and read pages on its own nowAsk about the latest news, versions or prices, or have it write code against current docs, and it searches, reads the pages that matter and answers with its sources, instead of handing the question to Codex. Code on a page comes through as it is, and it can read pages from a dev server on your Mac (localhost) too. Searching needs your echo account; the free plan gets 100 searches a day.
- Scrolling up no longer jumps you back to the bottomWhile echo is still answering, you can scroll up to read what came before and stay there. Scroll back to the bottom or send a new message and it follows along again.
0.1.43
- You can send images to echo nowPress ⌘V in the main window's input bar or in the overlay, and an image on the clipboard (a screenshot, an image copied elsewhere, an image file copied in Finder) goes along with what you say. You can also drag an image onto the input bar, or pick a file with the image button next to the microphone. Up to four per message, and an image with no words is fine. The phone app can send echo one image too, from 0.1.07 on.
- New: the Agents pageThere's an Agents row in the main window's sidebar. Every Claude Code and Codex session on this Mac is in there, the ones echo started and the ones you started in Terminal, with those waiting for you at the top. Open one to see what it last said, then follow up, stop it, approve, or continue in Terminal. A Claude Code session can also be handed to the Claude desktop app with Open in Claude.
- Settings, tidied upEvery page lines up now, and a row is a name, one line and one switch or button. The long explanations are down to a short footnote. Auto-approval for Codex and Claude Code is two switches, and turning one on checks with you first.
- Small fixesThe blank reply echo sometimes produced is no longer shown, and switching the wake word on this Mac reaches the phone even after the phone changed networks.
0.1.42
- Start another chat from your phone while echo is busyWhen echo is in the middle of something, a new request from the phone no longer just gets "busy". It opens another chat that runs alongside, up to four at once, each with its own progress and its own stop. This needs the next phone app update; the current phone app works as before, and a "busy" now says what echo is busy with.
- Tasks for Claude Code no longer fail with a puzzling sign-in errorWhen this Mac uses a system proxy, Claude Code tasks sent by echo now go through it. Before, they went out directly, were refused, and the error read like a sign-in problem. When it really can't connect, it now says whether it's the network or the sign-in, and what to do.
- Finished means finishedA task that hit a snag on one step but still got the job done is no longer flagged as a problem, and the notification just says it finished. The steps that didn't go through are listed inside the task.
- No more "busy" after you stop itStopping what echo is doing also drops the confirmation it was waiting for. Before, the phone could keep showing echo as busy after a stop like that.
0.1.41
- Keep talking after an answerWhen you started with the wake word, or asked by voice with Live voice mode on, echo listens for five more seconds after it answers. Just speak and that's your next request, with no shortcut and no wake word again. If nobody speaks it quietly stops.
- Summon it again and you're back in the same chatBring the overlay back within three minutes of it closing, by shortcut, menu bar or wake word, and it continues the chat you were in. After three minutes it starts a new one.
- The voice wake switch is in the main window nowThere's a Wake word row under Voice input at the bottom left of the main window. One click turns it on, another turns it off, no trip to Settings. The first time you turn it on from there it checks with you first, since the microphone stays on while it's on.
- On the same Wi-Fi, your phone connects straight to this MacNo detour through a server outside, so at home or in the office the phone is connected almost the moment you open it, and talking and checking tasks are much quicker. Away from home it switches back by itself. Everything is encrypted either way. Needs phone app 0.1.06 or later.
- The phone's link to this Mac holds up betterAfter a Wi-Fi switch or a network hiccup the Mac notices sooner and reconnects by itself. Before, the phone could show the Mac as online while what you sent sat there unanswered. And a sentence is no longer cut short when the connection drops while you're speaking.
- Coming from 0.1.38 or earlier? Permissions need turning on once more0.1.39 changed the app identifier, so macOS treats it as a new app and asks for Microphone and Accessibility again. echo walks you there when it opens, and the shortcut works again once they're on. Your settings and chats are kept. If you're already on 0.1.39 or 0.1.40 there's nothing to do.
0.1.40
- What voice wake does, spelled outUnder the Wake word switch in Settings › Voice & permissions there's now a note. While it's on the microphone stays on, with the orange dot in the menu bar. The wake word is recognized on this Mac, nothing is saved or uploaded before it's heard, and only what you say after it goes to echo. It's still off by default.
- Turn voice wake on or off by askingSay "turn on voice wake", "turn off voice wake" or "stop listening all the time" instead of going to Settings. Said from the phone, it changes the switch on the phone (needs phone app 0.1.04 or later).
If you're already on 0.1.39 there's nothing to do.
0.1.39
- Permissions need turning on once moreThis version has a new app identifier, so macOS treats it as a new app and asks for Microphone and Accessibility again. echo walks you there when it opens, and the shortcut works again once they're on. Your settings and chats are kept.
- Answer a waiting task on the spotWhen Claude Code or Codex needs a step approved or asks you to pick an option, the overlay comes up by itself. Click Allow, Deny or an option, or just tell echo "approve it", "the second one" or "you choose". It works from the phone too. Before, approvals hid in Settings and questions from Claude couldn't be answered at all.
- Automatic review stays onPairing a phone used to switch it off without saying so. With it on, routine steps go through as before, and you're only asked about what it can't settle and what needs your choice.
- Wake it by voiceTurn on Wake word in Settings › Voice & permissions and say "echo echo" or "回声回声" instead of pressing the shortcut. It's off by default. While on, the microphone waits for the wake word on this Mac, and nothing said before it is transcribed, saved or sent.
- Live voice modeThere's a Live switch next to send in the chat window. With it on, a spoken question gets a short spoken answer, and the full reply stays on screen. It comes with a pass; without one nothing is spoken.
- "Read task results aloud" now uses the Live voiceIt used the built-in system voice and was free. It's part of Live voice mode now and needs a pass.
- Type in the overlayAfter bringing up the small overlay, click the middle and type instead of talking, then press Return. Listening stops by itself after 10 seconds without new words.
- Set alarms by voiceSay "wake me up at 7 tomorrow" and echo sets it in Clock, ringing on this Mac. The first time, macOS asks once whether echo can hand it to Clock; click Always Allow. Alarms don't ring while the Mac is asleep.
- Pick up a task that didn't finishWhen a background task fails, is interrupted or gets denied, the line above the input says why, with Continue to carry on in the same session or Retry to start over. Voice problems come with a one-click fix too.
- A clearer welcome guidePermissions are turned on one at a time, each with what it's for, and the last page has the QR code for the phone app. Opening echo straight from the installer now reminds you to move it to Applications first.
- FixedA background task that had finished could keep showing as running.
0.1.38
- Talk to echo from your phoneHold to talk in the phone app and echo on your Mac takes it from there. The reply shows up as it's written, and you get a notification when it's done. Open an earlier chat and keep talking to pick it up again, and confirm what echo asks for with a tap.
- Get the phone app from SettingsScan the code in Settings › Phone with your phone. Android installs right away; the iPhone version is on its way to the App Store.
0.1.37
- A welcome guide the first time you open itIt walks you through turning on the microphone, Accessibility and the rest, with an Allow button next to each and its status right there. Then it shows the apps echo can work with, and you try saying something. To see it again, open it from Settings › Voice & permissions.
- Finds the right person even when the name is misheardSay "message He Renke on WeChat" and even if the words come out wrong, echo matches by how the name sounds in WeChat and Feishu. If it can't tell who you mean, it won't fill anything in.
- Reads chats for youAsk "what did Zhang San just say" or "what's the product group talking about" and echo opens the chat, reads it and tells you.
- Spotify and Apple Music tooPlay, pause and skip, in whichever one is playing.
- Run your shortcuts by voiceSay "run good morning" and echo tells you what it came back with.
- Drafts emails for youSay "email Li Si that Friday's meeting moves to 3 pm" and echo writes it and opens it in the mail you normally use, looking up the address in Contacts. It never sends; you check it and hit send. It can also read new mail in the Mail app.
- More you can just sayTake and look up notes, change the volume, switch to dark mode, lock the screen, find files by name or "my recent PDFs", and join a Tencent Meeting by its number.
- See the supported apps in SettingsSettings › Apps. Hover over an icon to see what echo can do with it.
0.1.36
- Codex sessions no longer show up twiceA Codex chat you picked up again used to appear twice in echo, and asking what it was working on could read the older copy. Now there's just one, and it's the latest.
- Ready for the phone appOnce the phone app is out, a Phone page shows up in Settings. From your phone you'll be able to see what Claude Code and Codex are doing, send them work, and allow what they ask for. It isn't there yet, so no need to look for it.
0.1.35
- Keep the panel as a small capsuleTap the new ⌃ at the top right of the card and it shrinks to a capsule at the top of the screen, and stays that way. Progress scrolls by inside it one step at a time. Tap ⌄ on the capsule to get the full card back.
- The panel tucks itself away when you're done20 seconds after a task finishes with nothing new, the panel closes on its own. Keep your mouse over it and it stays open while you read.
- See new versions at a glanceWhenever you're not on the latest version, an Update button sits next to Settings at the bottom left of the main window. Click it to download and install. Big updates pop up as soon as you open the app.
- Switch web pages by voiceAsk "what pages do I have open", "go to the GitHub tab" or "open Bilibili", and echo lists your Safari and Chrome tabs, switches to one or opens the page.
- Control NetEase Cloud Music by voiceSay play, next or pause without switching over to the app.
- Messages ready to go in WeChat and FeishuSay "tell Zhang San on WeChat I'll be ten minutes late" and echo opens the chat and puts the message in the box. Check it and press Enter to send. echo never presses send for you, and fills nothing if it can't tell who the chat is. WeChat needs Screen Recording allowed for echo.
0.1.34
- Fixed the panel freezing againThe last update fixed one cause, but the panel could still lock up mid-chat and spin the fan. The remaining cause is fixed now.
0.1.33
- Select text and say how to change itSelect text in any app, press the shortcut and say "make it more formal" or "translate to English". When the result is ready, replace the original, insert it at the cursor, or copy it.
- Reminders and calendarSay "remind me to hand in the report at 3pm tomorrow" and it goes into Reminders, alerting you on your Mac, and on your iPhone for iCloud lists. You can also ask what's on today, or have echo agent add an event.
- Scheduled tasksThings like "every weekday at 9am, …" or "check it once that task finishes" now run on their own when the time comes. See and stop them under Settings → History → Scheduled.
- MemorySay "remember my email is …" and later chats will know it. View or forget anything under Settings → Memory.
- Fixed recording cutting out with Bluetooth headsetsWith a Bluetooth headset as the mic, recording stopped right after it started, as if the shortcut had to be held. One press now keeps it going.
- Fixed the panel freezingAfter a few rounds in the panel, once the chat grew taller than the panel it could freeze on "Thinking". Not anymore.
- A few smaller fixes: screenshot previews show up again, background tasks no longer prompt Macs without the command line tools to install them, and the English interface no longer shows a stray Chinese message.
0.1.32
- Redeem codesEnter a code from us under Settings → Account → Redeem code to open an echo pass. Tester codes also make you an echo agent tester: usage statistics are turned on and feature counts are sent with your account — never what you said or your conversations. Turn them off any time in Settings → About.
- Better-looking repliesHeadings, lists, tables and code blocks are laid out properly instead of showing raw
**and##, including replies in Codex and Claude Code task details.
0.1.31
- Crash reportsWith usage statistics on, if echo agent crashes it sends where the code failed the next time it opens, so we can fix it sooner. Only the call stack — no file paths, nothing you said, no conversations. Turn it off any time in Settings → About.
- Try echo before signing inA fresh install can use the built-in echo model a few times before you sign in.
- Clearer messages when echo's uses run out, and in Settings → Account.
0.1.3
- Project foldersThe sidebar now has Projects. A project is a folder on your Mac, and chats you start in it read and write files right there. Chats from an older workspace show up under that folder on their own.
- ArchiveTuck away chats you're done with, and bring them back any time from Settings → History.
- Fixed a crash when signing in with GoogleIn 0.1.2 the app quit as the sign-in window closed. Not anymore.
- Your account in the sidebarOnce signed in, your name and email sit at the bottom. Click to open Settings → Account.
- Every provider in the model menuThe ones without a key are greyed out, with a shortcut to add one.
- Smoother screenshotsecho agent can capture its own Settings window, and screenshots work in follow-up questions from the panel. Settings shows whether Screen Recording is allowed.
- Background tasks in Settings got a cleaner layout.
Already running echo agent? When a new version is out, an Update button appears at the bottom left of the main window; one click installs it. Not installed yet? Get the latest version.
